governmental public notice was issued last week calling for linking an Indian resident’s PAN with his/her Aadhaar card before 2019 ends. An NRI with financial dealings back home is advised to have both an Aadhaar and a PAN card, which means the Indian expat will need to link them too.

The deadline was revised to December 31 from an initial deadline of September 30. The linking was first proposed to be enforced in 2017 but the deadline has been extended several times since then.

As mandated earlier, if one’s PAN is not linked to his/her Aadhaar by then, the account number will be made ‘inoperative’. How exactly the PAN will be made inoperative is yet to be announced. It is clear, however, that since PAN is mandatory for many transactions in India from bank procedures to purchase of land/property, it can adversely affect financial decisions if not done.

The NPR is a register of the usual residents of the country. It contains information collected at the local (village/sub-town), subdistrict, district, state and national level under provisions of the Citizenship Act, 1955 and the Citizenship (Registration of Citizens and Issue of National Identity Cards) Rules, 2003

WHAT INFORMATION WILL BE COLLECTED UNDER NPR

The objective of the NPR is to create a comprehensive identity database of every usual resident in the country. The database would contain demographic particulars such as:

Spouse's name (if married)
Sex
Date of birth
Marital status
Place of birth
Nationality (as declared)
Present address of usual residence

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO YOU NEED TO PRODUCE FOR NPR

During the NPR, a respondent will not require to produce any document. As per a statement was given by Home Minister Amit Shah to news agency ANI, NPR information will be self-attested, that is, whatever information is provided by the respondent will be deemed correct and no documents or biometric would be required.

WHAT IS NRC

The National Register of Citizens (NRC) is a register containing names of all genuine Indian citizens. At present, only Assam has such a register.

The exercise may be extended to other states as well. Nagaland is already creating a similar database known as the Register of Indigenous Inhabitants. The Centre is planning to create a National Population Register (NPR), which will contain demographic and biometric details of citizens.

What is NRC in Assam?

The NRC in Assam is basically a list of Indian citizens living in the state. The citizens’ register sets out to identify foreign nationals in the state that borders Bangladesh.

The process to update the register began following a Supreme Court order in 2013, with the state’s nearly 33 million people having to prove that they were Indian nationals prior to March 24, 1971.

The updated final NRC was released on August 31, with over 1.9 million applicants failing to make it to the list.

How does one prove citizenship?

In Assam, one of the basic criteria was that the names of applicant's family members should either be in the first NRC prepared in 1951 or in the electoral rolls up to March 24, 1971.

Other than that, applicants also had the option to present documents such as refugee registration certificate, birth certificate, LIC policy, land and tenancy records, citizenship certificate, passport, government issued licence or certificate, bank/post office accounts, permanent residential certificate, government employment certificate, educational certificate and court records.

What happens with the excluded individuals

"Non-inclusion of a person's name in the NRC does not by itself amount to him/her being declared a foreigner," govt has said. Such individuals will have the option to present their case before foreigners' tribunals.

If one loses the case in the tribunal, the person can move the high court and, then, the Supreme Court.

In the case of Assam, the state government has clarified it will not detain any individual until he/she is declared a foreigner by the foreigners' tribunal.

What can people do if they cannot find legacy data

The government has set up NRC Seva Kendras in every district of Assam, which assist people in searching for Legacy Data, issuing of Legacy Data Code, and in receipt of NRC Application forms.

NRC for Indian citizens in Assam was first created in 1951. Manipur and Tripura were also granted permission to create their own NRCs, but it never materialised. The reason behind the move was to identify Indian citizens in Assam amid "unabated" migration from East Pakistan (now Bangladesh).

The list comprised of those who lived in India on January 26, 1950, or were born in India or had parents who were born in India or had been living in India for at least five years before the January 26, 1950 cut-off.

Advantages of Voltage Operated ELCB

ELCBs are less sensitive to fault conditions and have few nuisance trips.
While current and voltage on the ground line generally fault current from a live wire, this is not continuously the case, therefore there are conditions in which an ELCB can annoyance trip.
When an installation of the electrical instrument has two contacts to earth, a near high current lightning attack will root a voltage gradient in the earth, offering the ELCB sense coil with sufficient voltage to source it to a trip.

1) Condenser: Just like in the traditional condenser of the vapor compression cycle, the refrigerant enters the condenser at high pressure and temperature and gets condensed. The condenser is of water cooled type.

2) Expansion valve or restriction: When the refrigerant passes through the expansion valve, its pressure and temperature reduces suddenly. This refrigerant (ammonia in this case) then enters the evaporator.

3) Evaporator: The refrigerant at very low pressure and temperature enters the evaporator and produces the cooling effect. In the vapor compression cycle this refrigerant is sucked by the compressor, but in the vapor absorption cycle, this refrigerant flows to the absorber that acts as the suction part of the refrigeration cycle.

4) Absorber: The absorber is a sort of vessel consisting of water that acts as the absorbent, and the previous absorbed refrigerant. Thus the absorber consists of the weak solution of the refrigerant (ammonia in this case) and absorbent (water in this case). When ammonia from the evaporator enters the absorber, it is absorbed by the absorbent due to which the pressure inside the absorber reduces further leading to more flow of the refrigerant from the evaporator to the absorber. At high temperature water absorbs lesser ammonia, hence it is cooled by the external coolant to increase it ammonia absorption capacity.

1. AHU is generally a bigger system than FCU.

2. AHU is more complex than the FCU and that AHU are often used in bigger establishments or spaces.

3. The AHU system usually channels air through ducts whereas the FCU don’t have any ductworks.

4. AHU system treats outside air while FCUs basically recycle or re-circulates the air.

5. AHU have sections for reheating and humidifying whereas the FCU does not have any.

6. FCU are often observed to be noisier than the AHU

I did my Intermediate from State Board with 72% & High school from State Board with 75%.

I like computer, Because In my schooling days, I have scored High marks in that subject compared to Maths, physics.

My Hobbies is playing shuttle, A Passion for music and teaching kids.
